I really like that both Cadillac and Corvette have factory racing teams that do pretty well from what I understand. I really hope they make a new CTS-V.R to run with the ATS-V.R, did anyone ask de Nysschen about the future of their racing efforts during the AMA? I know it has been featured on the FP a few times but the C7.R is just ridiculously cool. Both teams make my inner GM fanboy proud, haha.
Sidenote: can anyone recommend a nice fitted style ballcap? I'm looking at this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! racing one.

I was at the Pirelli World Challenge this past weekend and the Cadillacs sounded awesome. Ridiculously poppy exhaust. The Merc SLS was louder I think, but I dug the Caddy.

The CTS-V was overkill for PWC from the start. The car was much bigger than most. The motor had to be detuned for the series, i.e., the street version had more horsepower than the racecar. The weight penalties they encountered during the season was ridiculous.
No the CTS-V will not be back. The ATS-V is much better suited for the series. But after seeing last weekend's races, looks like they've got work to do.
